You are buying a house in Cornwall, Derbyshire or Northamptonshire. The survey is fine. The searches are fine. Nobody has said the word radon. It is a gas that comes up out of the ground. You cannot see it or smell it. After smoking it is the biggest cause of lung cancer in the country. Some streets have a lot of it under them. Some have almost none. The map knows which. Most buyers never look.

Coverage, said plainly

Great Britain. England, Scotland and Wales are in the atlas we read. Northern Ireland is not, and the check says so instead of guessing.

Every section of the report says one of three things. Checked, with the source and the date. Could not be checked, with the reason and what you can do instead. Or does not apply here, with the reason. A report never prints a blank.

What we are not
